YANA FREEDOM DANCE

Yana Freedom Dance

Conscious Dance & Embodied Transformation

A playful and transformative movement practice blending ecstatic dance, Authentic Movement, conscious relating and somatic exploration.

Yana Freedom Dance is an invitation to reconnect with your body, emotions, intuition and authentic expression through movement. Drawing inspiration from ecstatic dance, Authentic Movement, conscious dance practices, somatic awareness and group process work, it creates a space where movement becomes a pathway for self-discovery, connection and transformation.

Rather than following choreography or performance, you are encouraged to listen to the body's impulses and move in ways that feel natural, alive and true in the moment. Through solo exploration, partner exercises, group practices and free dance, participants develop greater body awareness, emotional resilience and trust in themselves and others.

The practice supports emotional expression, nervous system regulation, creativity, confidence and embodied presence. It offers an opportunity to step beyond habitual patterns, connect more deeply with yourself, and experience the freedom that emerges when movement is guided from within.

Research suggests that conscious movement and dance can reduce stress, improve mood, enhance emotional flexibility, support nervous system regulation and strengthen social connection. Movement becomes more than exercise or entertainment — it becomes a practice of integration, self-awareness and human connection.

Some moments are playful. Some are deeply reflective. Some are joyful, challenging or surprising. All are welcome.

No dance experience is required. No choreography to learn. No performance to perfect.

Just movement, presence, curiosity and the freedom to be fully yourself.
